Is laser hair removal safe?
Yes! The DiolazeXL is designed to guarantee a safe and effective treatment for all skin tones and all areas of the body. However, if you have tattoos, an active infection or inflammation, viral, fungal or bacterial disease, an active cold sore, or open wound in the area you want to treat, or if you are pregnant, laser hair removal is not suitable for you.
Are results permanent?
Laser hair removal is an effective treatment to permanently reduce hair quantity and thickness. Hair removal is permanent when the hair follicle is destroyed, which is why multiple treatments are needed. Contact us to develop a treatment plan tailored to your skin type and needs.
Why do I need multiple treatments?
Hair goes through a resting and growth cycle. When its is in its resting part of the cycle, your hair may not be able to absorb enough laser light to destroy the follicle. Typically, between 4 and 6 sessions are needed to permanently reduce hair quantity and thickness.
Are there body parts that can't be treated?

How should I prepare for my laser hair removal treatment?
There are a few pretreatment recommendations to consider prior to your treatment:
- Avoid tanning and limit your sun exposure for 2 weeks
- Hold off on removing hair from the root (waxing, tweezers)
- Shave the night before your treatment for better results
How do I care for my skin after the treatment and is there any downtime?
Some patients experience mild redness and swelling around their hair follicles, which can last up to 24 hours. You should avoid excessive heat or sweating and sun exposure for the first 3 days. Do not wax, tweeze or bleach the treated area until all sessions are completed. Shaving between sessions is acceptable.
