Teeth Whitening

Beaming White Advanced teeth whitening is a cosmetic procedure that can lighten teeth several shades. Depending on the number of treatments shades can lighten between 2-8 shades. A total of three treatments may be performed during one appointment session.

The strongest gel that recommended for use in medispai is 16% hydrogen peroxide or 16% Hydrogen peroxide. This to be the perfect combination of whitening power while minimizing the potential for tooth sensitivity and gum irritation. Because of its dramatic whitening power, this gel MAY NOT BE USED IN A TRAY. This gel is painted on the visible parts or your teeth without touching your gums.

Dentists may use teeth whitening gels that are twice the strength of what we can offer, up to 36% HP and even higher. However, they usually won’t use such strong gel because of the extreme tooth sensitivity that comes with it. The reason they can use stronger gel is that they can apply a gingival barrier to your gums to protect your gums from the oxidizing effects of strong whitening gel.

Many dentists choose to use the 16% HP gel, because it is fast, effective, safe, and gentle.

RESULTS

Teeth whitening results depend on variables controlled by your provider such as gel strength, how long the gel is on your teeth, and how many back-to-back applications you receive.

However, your results also depend on YOU! That’s right. Your habits, age, tooth porosity, natural tooth color, how much you salivate, and the age, degree, and types of stains you have, ALL affect your results. All things being equal, if you receive three back-to-back 20-minute applications of 16% HP gel, your results will be the SAME!
